Recently, I read about a builder in Maine that I just have to write about hoping that Sacramento builders will listen to the cues and start building homes with those little things that make a big difference to women. ?Mark Patterson of Patterson Patco Construction of Maine was one of the few who remained building homes while other builders stopped during the real estate melt-down. ?Smart builder giving women home buyers what they want!

What many women would love in their home

Built in bathroom caddy for magazines with built-in drawer for extra toilet paper. ?Wouldn?t it be nice to get rid of all those extra toilet paper rolls hanging?around ?and those weird holders that many of us have in plain view? ?This is a terrific idea that you can do in your own home as long as you make sure you insert this between 2 studs.

Instead of un-used drawer-front under bathroom cabinet sink ? have it open where hair care appliances can be stored and plugged in. ?Now, how can you not see a great use for this? ?What a great use of space and cleaning up the bathroom counter.

Did you notice the?plugs are out of sight as well? ?Where has this builder been all my life? ?Love this organization

A stop-and-drop area OUT of the kitchen near the garage entrance for keys, mobile phones,mail, trash for disposing of junk mail etc. ? what I would add is a better docking station?key?built-in, hiding cords. Perhaps instead of a trash can, a shredder might be optimum. ?Good start in my opinion but I do see room for improvement. ?Back east where they have mud room, this is probably where this is located. ?Nice to keep it all out of the kitchen. ?
