Peter Blackmore
Chief Executive Officer
Peter Blackmore joined ShoreTel in December 2010 as president and CEO to scale global operations and accelerate the company?s growth. He brings more than 30 years experience with technology companies worldwide to this role.
Previously Blackmore was president, CEO and a member of the board of directors of UTStarcom, Inc., a provider of Internet protocol-based network solutions, where he established the company?s growth strategy in China and India. Before UTStarcom, Blackmore was executive vice president in charge of worldwide sales, marketing and technology at Unisys Corporation. Prior to Unisys, Blackmore worked at Hewlett-Packard where he served as executive vice president of the Customer Solutions Group and, before that, of the Enterprise Systems Group. From 1991 until its acquisition by Hewlett-Packard in 2002, Blackmore served in several senior management positions at Compaq Computer Corporation reporting directly to the CEO, including senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing and then executive vice president for sales and service. Earlier Blackmore held senior field sales and channel management roles at Compaq in Europe and North America.
Blackmore serves on the board of MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. and holds an M.A. in Economics from Trinity College, Cambridge, U.K. He is married with two children and lives in Northern California.

Professional Bio:
Melinda was born and raised in Sunnyvale. She, her husband and their two children currently reside in a historic home in the downtown area.
As the only woman and mother on the council, Melinda came into politics as a community activist and has served as a councilmember for four years. She enjoys working with the citizens and businesses in Sunnyvale to find the solutions that will benefit the community as a whole.
Prior to her career in politics, Melinda spent most of her career in marketing, working for both high-tech companies and nonprofit organizations, as well as running her own small business. She also spent two years in Russia working for a newspaper.
Melinda graduated with bachelor?s degrees in communications and Russian studies from the University of California at San Diego, and is currently pursuing her MBA at Santa Clara University.

? Seeking to restore public safety and other service levels and working to find the solutions needed to improve Sunnyvale?s budgeting process.
